📊 Clearer match cards, cross-sport event search, and steadier video uploads
New
Search events across every sport at once. Event search has an all sports view, so you no longer have to pick a sport first to see what's on.
Look up a member by email through the Partner API. Partners can now resolve a member by email address under a dedicated permission, so you only grant it if you need it.
Three missing permissions are now offered in the developer portal. Approval-required scopes that existed but couldn't be requested can now be asked for.
Improved
Ratings now follow your games in the order you played them. When a batch of results was entered at once — a league night uploaded in one go, say — a game could occasionally be worked out from an out-of-date starting point rather than the rating you finished the previous game on. That's fixed, and we've recalculated the affected games so every history reads straight through. A small number of ratings have shifted as a result — where yours has, the new number is the accurate one.
Each game in a match now shows its own prediction. Previously every game in a multi-game match displayed the same win probability and predicted score. Now game one shows what we expected from game one, and game two shows game two.
VAIR Vision judges a game by its rallies and a player by their skills. Rally quality is now measured and reported rather than folded into your rating, and what counts as the outcome of a rally is defined the same way everywhere it's assessed.
Uploading a video is harder to lose. Uploads keep waiting while a video finishes processing and remember what has already arrived, instead of giving up partway. A session with nothing watchable is now refused up front rather than failing later.
Your VAIR Vision report reads more clearly, with how players compared on court in place of an estimated level.
Fixed
Games that were rated no longer say "Non-Rated". Some match cards showed a "Non-Rated" label while the rating change beside it clearly moved. The label now reflects your own rating track, so a rated game reads as rated.
A non-rated game no longer shows rating movement. Where a game genuinely wasn't rated — a forfeit, or one skipped because the teams were too far apart — the player rows stay neutral instead of showing green and red changes that didn't happen.
Win or loss is decided by the match, not the last game. A match you won on points could read as a loss if the final game went the other way. It now reflects the whole match, with games won and the deciding game as tie-breakers.
Predicted scores stay inside the game you played. A game to 11 could show a predicted score of 15. Predictions are now capped at what was actually reachable, so a game that went to deuce still reads sensibly.
Small rating changes are no longer rounded away to zero. Hover any rating change to see it in full.
Event results no longer repeat or skip when a search spans more than one sport.
