Changelog

📊 Import game scores from a spreadsheet, and claiming your old record keeps everything

New

  • Import game scores from a CSV file. Club admins and ambassadors can now upload a spreadsheet of game scores instead of typing each game in by hand. Before anything is saved, a preview lists every problem on every row (a missing score, an unknown member number, an ambiguous date, a game that is already in VAIR), so you can fix the file and try again. A progress bar shows while the file is checked and imported. Club admins import from their club's event page; ambassadors import from the ambassador hub.
  • Every club now has a club number, so a club can be named in a score import.

Improved

  • Claiming your old VAIR record brings everything with it. If you had a VAIR record before you signed up, from a tournament, a club import or a partner app, claiming it now moves your full history to your account: your member number, rating history, orders, event entries, club memberships and certifications. Nothing attached to the old record is lost.
  • VAIR recognises you by any email you have used. After two of your records are combined, the address that was not kept still belongs to you.
  • Vairify My Game: remove a video before you submit. Each video in your submission now shows its status (uploading, processing, ready or needs re-upload) with a Remove button.

Fixed

  • Videos you analysed with Analyze My Game can now be submitted for a rating. If you used Analyze My Game and then started Vairify My Game within 48 hours, the submission could fail with "your videos did not finish uploading", even though they had. VAIR now keeps the full game long enough to rate it. A video that has already been trimmed to a clip is left out, with a note explaining that a rating needs the full game.
  • The "profile found" check at sign-up no longer misses a record because of capital letters.

For partners

  • Rotating or adding an API key no longer disconnects your members. A member's consent now belongs to your partner app rather than to the key you used when they connected, so they keep working through any live key of your app. A rotated key retires when its grace period ends, and the developer portal shows which key replaced it.
