Changelog

🔑 Partners can add permissions to the keys they already have

Fixed

  • The "Videos received" email for Express VAIRification reads correctly. It now says "24–48 hours" instead of showing a scrambled code, and the numbered steps under "What happens next" are easy to read in every email app.

Improved

  • Disconnecting a partner app ends only the app you clicked. In Settings → Connected apps, two apps that share a name now show as two rows, and each permission you granted shows its own icon.

For partners

  • Add a permission to a key you already have. On your app's Keys tab you can now add any permission your app is eligible for to an existing key. The key keeps working under the same prefix and every connected member stays connected, so there is no new secret to hand to your integration. Changes take effect on your very next call.
  • Your trust level now comes with its permissions. A Verified app can put member read, rating read, match submit, tournament import, write, event read and event webhooks on its keys without asking. A Trusted app also gets email lookup and member creation. Anything beyond your level can still be requested from the Trust tab, which now shows what your app already has and offers only what you can still ask for. Admin and referral access are arranged by contacting Vairified.
  • Your own hourly limit is the one that counts. Each key is now held to the hourly request limit set for it, rather than one shared limit, and the limit is shown in every response. The usage page reports exactly how many requests you have left this hour.
  • Know when and why a member's connection ended. Your developer portal's Users tab has a Connection filter (Active, Ended or All). Ended rows show who ended the connection and when, and the export follows the filter. You now also receive a disconnect notice, with the reason, when Vairified ends a connection: an admin, a security block, or a deleted account.
  • API keys stay out of our logs. If your integration sends its key in the web address, the key is now hidden in every log and error report.
  • Private events are shared with Trusted apps only. Below Trusted, private events are no longer sent as notifications and cannot be read by event number. Public events are unchanged.
  • The developer portal's breadcrumbs are clickable, so you can get back to your apps from any page.
